It's a win win situation to drill ANWR. Will the price of oil dramatically fall if we drill? Probably not, but there is a tremendous supply of untapped petroleum up there that the nation needs as well as an enormous amount of natural gas. We need to get off our duffs and start exploring now before it's too late. There is absolutely no reason to postpone it any longer. The same goes for building the gas line down to the lower forty eight. The "greenies" will tell you that it will disturb the caribou and that is absolute bunk! And oh yeah about that virgin artic slope forest we need to preserve.
