Pre- chainsaw- and OSHA. Wheel barrow handles, a Wisconsin air cooled V-4 at the axle, and a 4 foot blade out in front. Simply wheel it up to the log, lift the handles, lowering the blade into the log. Move over, repeat. doubt if anybody ever took off a finger with one. But useful for making posts to use as grave markers.

I guess the Aussies didn't have PWs with rear PTOs.
