The Cummins CPL Guide I have makes no mention of Turbo mounting. It only shows HP, Torque, Injection pump and timing. I believe turbo mounting position was customers choice to better fit their application. I base this on 2 of my CPL 857's. Both have low rear mount turbos. However one is angled down the other is a straight. This is handled by a different exhaust manifold.

CPL 594 would be a nice one to find, 333 foot pounds at 1500 R's and 125 hp at 2200 R's
