Actually the price did drop this year, at least in CA, the prices have just started to go up as the world wide price of oil has spiked.
Pray for a recession in china and the price of oil will drop.....but the cheap chinese goods that most American buy will continue to remain cheap, further fueling the rise in oil prices.
Stop buying chinese products and oil prices will drop....
