Oh please, let me tell you about Donut Holes. When I was still "working"? (yes, it was a good job and I thank our Lord for it) my partner Monte and I liked,loved and craved wheat donuts to dunk in our coffee. No one else really cared as long as it was a donut. Safeway used to sell wheat donuts along with all the other stuff but about 5 years ago they stopped. We went to the other stores and survived on thier offerings but would always remember the first love! So about the time I retired ( 3 years ago) someone noticed Safeway was selling donut holes. They had not sold these before and when we looked at the ingredients, it said WHEAT DONUT HOLES. I beat it up to Safeway and started looking for the WHEAT DONUTS that I knew were there. Boy was I disappointed. I asked one of the women where the WHEAT DONUTS WERE? She said over there with the rest of the donuts. I went back and couldn't find them and had her come and look with me. No Wheat! I pointed out the obvious and she said she would check. They never had wheat donuts, only wheat donut holes. I even sent the complaint form to Safeway Headquarters and received NO REPLY. Thats our story and we're stickin to it.
