Don't worry George, a Mopar Auto will live just fine behind a 4BT, only half the torque of the 6BT.
Torque is what kills em.
My 47RE is running just fine, but the bands get out of adjustment every 10-12 months. I'm still under warranty, and they have a Mopar Performance beefed up auto that might be a great fix if the 47 dies....
