Just my choice but a slush box behind a 4BT may not make you happy. I was silly enough to let a salesman talk me into an auto in a 97 I ton Dodge sport Cummins (Was the only truck on the lot & I needed one immediately),,, real nice truck till I hooked 20,000 lbs behind it & tied up traffic on every hill, something my 91 stick shift never did,, Had it dynoed by Cummins & everything checked out fine,, fool me once,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, u know the story
