Line up the timing mark to top dead center while taking note of the direction the rotor is turning(I can't remember if its clock or counter clockwise), and then take note of the rotor position when you stop at TDC. It should be in the seven oclock position. Your firing order will be from that point, 153624, wire the distributor accordingly. Even if your rotor stops at 2:00, you can still wire to the proper sequence and will get the correct firing order. Unless your timing chain has jumped a tooth, or your oil pump was not installed incorrectly, you should get it to run. Have you made sure you are getting spark, fuel?
