Overall, it sounds like the Cat 3208 is a good motor for this application. All other things being equal, I'd prefer a diesel for economy anyway. We're going to try to get the one with the 3208, mostly because it's the best looking trolley overall, won't need repainting, and is the size (small) that we need. It's being sold by a dealer in New York. I'm leery about buying something that expensive sight unseen (even though it isn't my personal money), but I don't know what else to do. I can't be flying all over the country looking at trolleys. Anybody in New York want to take a look at it for a fair price? The dealer says it's in great condition, but what else would he say. Somebody sold it for a reason.
