It sounds like PayPal is not right for me at this time. I don’t do direct deposit, online banking, or use ATMs. This sounds like another case of becoming a little too far removed from actually having the money pass through my fingers. ;^)
I have paid with, and accepted payment from, domestic Money Orders as well as International Postal Money Orders, all with good results. I like to think that in doing so I have a little insurance with the claims process, the concept of mail fraud, and postal inspectors all working on my side.
In this particular instance, if he has no means to obtain an International Postal Money Order, I will take my sister up on her offer to accept payment for me through her PayPal account.
