If you chase after someone breaking laws by running red lights, speeding and reckless driving you will have no sympathy from a judge. If you happen to hurt or kill someone going through a red light guess who they will sue? Think about it. It's not worth it. Besides the guy might be armed and kill you.
I sympathize with you though.
