Never heard of a wc half ton dodge using a stromberg carb. I have a WC4 1/2 ton open cab weapons carrier and it has the correct carb for it. My carb is a Carter DTA1. Most Carter Ball & Ball carbs will allow it to run, But might not be an exact match for the engine type, performance wise, and you may have to swap linkages. I have had many dodge WWII trucks and Power Wagons over the years and everyone had a Carter Ball & Ball of some type. (Some 3/4 ton wc's did use a zenith carb, but the majority are the Carters) You might want to check with Dennis at Power Wagon Parts (pwp) or Vintage Power Wagons, both are listed on this site under sponsors. I thought the Strombergs were used a lot on Fords.
