Today was the day I released from the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve, Royal Canadian Artillery. I thought I had had my belly full of the army life and I couldn't wait to sign my release papers. After all I am almost 55 which in my mind is getting a little long in the tooth. I thought this would be a happy day. Man was I ever mistaken. My heart is so heavy at this moment, I have turned a page I can never ever get back. It's not so much the government bullshit, but my buddies that I am going to miss. I quit my full time job just last week and I didn't give a damn when I walked away from it, and I thought I would feel the same way about taking off the green. Am I the only old bastard that has felt this way or are there more of us out there. Oh to be young again. lol.
Just wanted to get this out in the air even though it has nothing to do with old Dodge Power wagons.
