It looked like a '76 long bed pick up body style, but was a carryall. Long before the Excursion came out. It was getting tires in the stall next to mine in National city- between San Diego and Tijuana. Only ever saw the one.
I also saw a Mexican Jeep open cab weapons carrier, way down Baja. The short Jeep cab, like on those airplane tugs. But the bed was like a M-715.
I wonder if Mexico is a different market, or just that the big three tested stuff down there, more openly? more cheaply?
