What the hell did these guys do 20 years ago when there wasn't a endless supply of cheap labor to be exploited?

Did houses get built? did automobiles get repaired? Hell yes they did.

When somebody says there are jobs that Americans won't do what he really means is that he doesn't want to pay more than third world wages to get the job done because it cuts into his profit margin.
