yes if the gvw is over 8000 and if you pull a trailer like i do it is neccessary and if pulling a {fifth wheel trailer} both the trailer and truck MUST be (safty)inspected and you MUST have a A licence to drive the combination (no air brake endorsement)and a valid LOG book and it better be upto date and current, or your out 500 bucks. check this!!! out also the cattle you truck must have valid EAR TAGS the ministry when stopping you for a road side inspection must insure the cattle are properly wearing ear tags. talk about government cash grabs
