I carried this over from the last forum.

Check the fuel lines and filters. You may have a piece of dirt or rubber hose floating in the system that partially blocks the system when gas is running through it but backs off when you shut it down. It is not a total blockage but only occurs when you have a load on it when running which demands more gas than if you are idling or running it at 2000 RPM with no load. Replace the fuel filter it may have water in it which is blocking the gas from getting through.

If you can not find anything I would check the fuel pump it might not be able to keep up with the higher fuel demands when the engine is run under load.

I suggest these two things to check as I had a truck that had both of these problems at one time. The first time I had a piece of fuzz from a gas filter that was defective lodge it self in the main jet. It ran fine until you demanded more fuel and the fuzz restricted gas flow. THe other time I was traveling from San Francisco to to Seattle on the fourth of July. The truck was running fine then all of a sudden it would not run over 50 MPH then 45 then 35. All the auto parts stores were either closed or did not have the correct pump.
