Got home today from 2 weeks away.
Started the vacation in New Jersey at the in-laws for Christmas. Got a chance to stop in and see Andrew, aka Viking Border Patrol and had a great but too short visit with him. Then after Christmas, further south to south Florida. Got to go see John B and admire the great job he is doing on his Power Wagon restoration. Even got to go for a ride which was a real blast.
Weather was in the mid 80s which was really nice, got home to mid 20s and first thing I did was plow us out with the Power Wagon. I am finding the ARB locker in the front to be very helpful for plowing. Often, when pushing up snow piles, a bunch of snow can slide back and bury the blade making it difficult to back up. In that situation, I engage the ARB and drivew right out. Also times where I hit a pile to push it back, if I cant move it without the locker, I usually can with it engaged. The Michelin XZL's are also doung great in the snow.
After plowing I got into the house and was presented with a last Christmas present which had come right after we left. Carl Buckingham's calender! Imagine my suprise and pleasure to be sharing April with Ron Sawyer and Dave Brownlow, a picture of 3 dump trucks!
Oh well, its not in the 80s here but its good to be home and back in contact with the Forum!
Tim
