The residual pres valve maintains 10 psi in the brake lines to drum brakes. This prevents the brake shoes from fully retracting and giving a low pedal. You want the 10 PSI residual Pressure valve. Its possible if you search, you may find a MC with a 1 & 5/16" bore with built in residual pressure valves.

Disk brakes do not use a residual pressure valve UNLESS the calipers are higher than the Master Cyl. Then they use a 2 or 3 psi valve.

I use the GM parts because they fit better in the conversions. Its much easier to find/marry the Chevy MC to a Chevy Vacuum booster or hydroboost than to figure out what Dodge Equipment to use. The Chevy equipment works well for me, I am pleased with its operation on my conversions.
