I have an 03 1500 2wd with automatic and a 360 c.i. (5.9l). It has 152,000 miles and the only repairs have been replacing the front hub bearings (1 went out at about 90,000). I just had it state (MD)inspected to transfer titile from the Company to me and there were no issues. I have done all of the maintenance and repairs myself, including changing the trans fluid at least every 40,000 miles. It has been used to haul occassional loads of 1,000# +, but never used for trailering. My 2 cents.
