David ,I watched my dad do valve jobs every fall on mom's cars and he would use the same gasket at least 3 times before getting a new one . He would get everything ready then grab a hand full of chassis lube ,place half in each hand and coat both sides of the head gasket with it put it on the block,then replace the head . Try it one time and if it doesn't work what are you out besides 30 minutes off and 30 back on . Try it you'll like it .
