From what I have seen, the NP435 came in a few different configurations. Most common was the 435 with a creeper gear, BUT I have also been told the Np435 also came in a close ratio veriety too. There was also a HD NP435 which had dual PTO Ports. GM used the 435 as a H.D. Option..Ford used the 435 alot in the late 60's thru the late 70's and even some in the 1980's, Some of the base line IHC Loadstar trucks had the 435 trans too. I have always perfered the 435 over most other 5 speeds, expecially the over the Warner 4 speeds. The 435 does not have that "sloppy shifter" that the Warner had. Overall they are a wonder peice of equipment..I have not had a moments trouble with one.
