The start of use for the 435 is not crystal clear but it dosn't appear to be widely used until '65. The WM300 appears to have used the 420 to it's end of domestic production in '68 and perhaps much later in exports. By '71 the export WM300/601 had become model X30, equipped with 435 and 225 6 cyl.
