Well guys, the fuel needle and fitting threads in my carter carb body striped out yesterday. I noticed fuel leaking around the needle and seat fitting. Several attempts to tighten it up, but it finally gave up. I am thinking of using a helicoil to repair. Any thoughts? A rebuilt at $175.00 is not an option. Thanks
