The locker in the rear is a great idea if your going to 4x4 its like night and day,I went Moab to 4x4 with some dodgers two months ago and I saw the difference first hand,Lockers beat plain jane 4x4 anyday,The flip side is, some say lockers break axles.Operator error break axles,I,ve seen some guys and gal's drive 2wd trucks where some 4byers couldn't or wouldn't go, You decide.I believe lockers we're an option back in the fortys and fiftys ,most serious 4byers just welded their spider gears back then.
