The Pentastar emblem on the early Tigers is because Chrysler had ownership in the parent company, Roots Group. They built the Sunbeam, Alpine Tiger, etc. There was a ad back then introducing the Tiger powered by a small block ford, and at the bottom it said by Chrysler Corp.
