Your problem is most likely the fuel pump...there is a backflow
check valve that either gets stuck open or ears out causing the
fuel to siphon back down the line and making it very difficult
to start after it sits a while. The best remedy is to get a new or rebuilt unit.
I recommend a new one as some of the older rebuilds
do not use a diaphrgm that is suitable for the ne
phony gas that has a tendancy to eat up the rubber
insisdes of the pump! I would replace all the fuel
lines too (That are rubber) Thus lessening the chance
of a fuel fire from the new caustic gasolines!
