Standard '39 pattern Civilian 4 x 2 was 4.30 I think, at least that's what came in my WC 36's
I also seem to remember that the WC 62/63 transfer case is better than the PW one
(pause for outrage to subside)
If I remember right the difference is that the PW 2 speed gives pretty much 1:1 and 2:1, whereas the WC unit gives 1:1 and 1.5:1 which gives you a better 'split' of road speeds.
