11:37 Am here...Just woke up from a 5 hour nap: (I work night shift at the local Factory) Weather is great out, sunny, mild and a bit breezy..We dont get many nice days like this in Michigan. I got my '55 C-1-PW sitting outside, next to my toasted low miled 70 W-200. I set here and ponder how good these trucks will be when I get them finsished (not restored, but just made into nice drivers and workhorses like they were intended to be) I walk out and glance at them, Look over the '55 and imagine that ugly modified M-37 box pulled off it, and a oak flatdeck setting on the back, a nice set of NDT's a freshly rebuilt 230 under the hood, a bit of body work done and a winch on the front... All well and good...I walk over to my 70 W-200, think and ponder of why such a nice running, good looking low milage truck caught fire. Here the remains set, still on the Factory snow tires on the Factory split rims! I searched all over for this truck for 5 years, and find it 3 miles from home..Now it is merely a parts truck. I think of how I need to get rid of the other stuff in my yard and get a few more old Power Wagons to replace the Non-Power Wagons I just got rid of..I an see a nice burly W-300 setting where that 71 Plymouth is now, or a W-200 Crew Cab in the place of the 68 Chevy K-20, Where my 68 Dodge D-300 sets we could stick a Power Town panel....Then the hard part hits, I open my wallet and see no money in it. I look at my yard of old vehicles and reality sets in...Walk back into the house.

IN all honesty, I dont know why I am drawn to ugly gigantic metal monsters...When I was 15 I bought my first truck a '71 Dodge D-200 Camper Special and I have been hooked on these old girls since. For the last almost 6 years I have had atleast one, if not more 61-71 Dodge truck around. I have learned the inns and outs of the 61-71 Dodge truck, Then I go ahead and buy this '55...it is a whole nother world. I love it, I would not trade it for anything in the world.
