When I converted a 3/4 ton WC-52 to a two speed transfer case, I was lucky to find a unit from a WC-63 Dodge 6X6. Although the gear ratio is slightly different than the PW transfer case, the dual rear output shafts on the WC-63 enable you to place the rear driveline at less of an angle than required when using the offset WDX style PW transfer case. The mounting brackets on a 1/2 ton have to be modified to bolt up to a PW or a WC-63 transfer case. I used the WC-63 brackets. The 1/2 ton drive flanges are also different from the those used on the PW and the WC-63.
