In my quest to find at least ONE parts truck in the state of NM, I stumbled across a ½ ton WW2 ambulance. From what I could gather from the nameplate, it's a WC-27 and the serial number is 81526359. The body is in really good shape with no major rust. Both the passenger doors and the rear doors are in excellent shape. There are a few dings and dents including one above the passenger side door. The hood and both headlights are gone. The interior is completely stripped out and someone has attempted a V8 transplant. They got the engine in but they didn’t get the transmission attached. The transfer case is still there but the shifter handle(s) are missing. Both axles are intact.

In a nutshell, the truck (in my opinion) would make an excellent body/frame donor for someone with an engine, tranny, and some time. The truck is located in Albuquerque, NM in a wrecking yard. I am not affiliated with the seller, but he has granted me permission to post the truck on the net. He is asking $2500 OBO. The contact info is as follows:

My website is having troubles lately so I hope you can get to the pics... Also my digital camera messed up and I missed the passenger side. Sorry.
