Axles are Rockwell. The ratios on mine are 6.80 and I think
that is pretty standard. That sounds real low but don't forget the
tire size. My truck has 9.00x20's which are over 40" tall.

Trannys are either NP435 or NP540. Mine is NP540 O/D which was an option,
but rare. The input shaft for this box is supposed to be completely unavailable.
I don't know about other parts.

Bearings and seals are available for axles. I can't imagine breaking the gears or axle shafts
in the diffs but if they are broken, it would probably be possible to find used replacements.

My truck came with a factory MU-2 winch. It has what I am told is the LU-2 engagement handle
(knob is in front).

Fenders are definitely different between W500 and the 300/400 series whether
D or W because the W500 has big fender flares. It seems that some of the larger
D series had those flares. Other body parts seem to be interchangable.

T-case is Rockwell (I think that's the make) T223.

What's your project? Hope this helps.
