1942 dodge 1.5 ton truck 2wd Owner tells me it is 228.12 cubic inchs and his dad told him the dealer told him when he purchased it new in 1942 that it had a chrysler engine as opposed to a dodge engine. I do not know if this is correct or if it matters. The owner told me his dad was able to buy it during the war years because it was for farm use. I guess it is a civilian model but it is void of most chrome. Thanks for any help getting this family hierloom back on the roads.
