So coffee cans that held thirteen pounds of coffee held $1100. Enough to buy my new computer. That is, if you wash your clothes at a laundromat, that eats the quarters!

But I did buy our first Dodge for $147.35. 1950 5 window Pilot House 1/2t. My 18 year old brother got tired of driving his Honda Elsinore to work. He left me his paycheck one day, said buy me a pick up. I found one, the guy wanted $175. So we hunkerd down and haggled a bit. I got him down to $150. Leon's pay, my cash, and all the loose change I could find in my truck. I still owe the guy the other $2.65.
