That's exactly what I meant about being open to expansion. I've seen it happen and it's always going to cost more or be more difficult to tie on if it's not planned. Even if it doesn't happen it's better for resale down the road for the next guy. As for the wood stoves, we had one in our metal building and our insurance company made us remove it or cancel our insurance. I've done the wood stove routine and like others have said unless you have a ready supply of wood as well as like to cut wood it's a lot of work. As far as having a wood stove in a woodworking shop and then add trucks with combustible fuels you can see the insurance companies point to an extent. I know many out there who have wood stoves in their shop and haven't had a problem YET. It only takes one time. Just something to think about.
