The 1995 1 tons were known to crack their frames near the drivers front cab mount. If you want to tow heavy loads, or plow with it, this is not a good year.
The Automatic needs a lot of upgrades to tow as well as the NV4500, but they are fine for pulling a single car trailer.
The 1994-early 1998 12V is a good motor, though the later 1997-1998 ones are the best of that era.
There was a problem around that time period with the lower doors rusting out, I think it was a recall at one point. Make sure you check the doors.
The pictures make it look like a nice truck, and considering what they go for most of the time that sounds like a decent price.
