Just a thought to help find the leak. Can you get the front of the truck up on ramps to replicate the incline? Block the rear very well or anchor it to something and with it running crawl under to see if it leaks and from where. I know it doesn't sound like the safest thing to do but if you do have it tried down it shouldn't be a problem. Past that I can't tell you as I've not had a pan off a 230 but the pan gasket sounds like a candidate for replacement.
