WaMu, is a real Bank in the West, Bank of America is a real bank nationwide, as is Well Fargo.
Citibank was originally the Bank of New York, it became First National Bank, then City National Bank, then Citibank. It owns Travelers, Dinners and other huge card institutions and has been America's largest Bank sine 1894, so yes...it's a real bank...= )
