The axles under that truck are more like a WWII 1/2 ton WC, a VC has a smaller bolt pattern and disc wheels.

Also the front and rear fenders are wrong, the floor of the cab is wrong, the hood would not have Dodge badges on it, the hood ornament is wrong, it would not have cowl lights, the steering column is wrong, and so are the bedsides.

I think that is a 1/2 ton WC 2wd 41-47 truck that someone put on a WWII 1/2 ton chassis, and then made an open cab for.

The attached image is a real VC-5 (the Open Cab Weapons Carrier).
