As Todd noted the 46 and 47 are actually 727's with electronic overdrive and lock up high gear. The 48 is a tad stouter, that's why I didn't list it with the others.
The only real weakness with any of these is Chrysler's failure to install a beefy enough torque converter with additional cooling. Heat is the killer and with torque there is plenty of heat...
