Supposedly household Lye is no longer sold in Idaho. My wife used to buy it to make soap and I used a spoonful in water to soak the inside of my stainless steel thermos to clean it. But we are told by everyone who used to sell it that the meth heads were buying it to make methamphetamine. If you know where I can buy some, I would like to know.
