Just got in, I have been on the road since 6 am. Thanks for all the thoughts. To save forum space, let me reply to them here.

First and 'MOST' important !!, I am not upset, I just have a problem I have to deal with and the slow speed is not going to be fixed tomorrow LOL.

Chris; Sure, they library in the settlement has high speed. That is fine for up load, but does nothing to stop huge files from plugging my email. The pictures you send in your emails are Fine, no problem.

Bob;
Your idea does have merit, but may I explain a little more. I also up load to my Image Event in reduced resolution to help others who are speed challenged. If they want to look at pictures up loaded in High Res, it will take to long for them to look at in full screen. So indirectly this is a receive speed problem on my end, but also my choice to up load in low res for others. I would still upload in low res if I was on a T1 Line. If someone needs a High Res of one of my pictures, I could send them a original from my D-70 on a CD.

Steve;
Cell Phone ? what is a cell phone ha ha. The Adirondack Mts is a RF Black Hole.
Little to no cell service in the High Peak area. This will not change as cell towers are non conforming in 'Wild Forever Land' thank goodness!

Bruce;
The propeller on my hat is also tin foil covered for a little more protection

Ken;
I agree, just reduce size

Norm;
I use two programs. One is called H Press, the other is called Come A Long.
H Press comes with a Velvet Bag to insert the CD with the large files. Its then inserted in a H Press and pumped down. Once in a while, the CD is hard to read, but you cant argue with disk compression. Come A Long is what you need for the small images you mention. The CD is fastened to a I Beam and one end of the Come A Long is attached via a hook to the center hole. You then ratchet the cd to any stretch size you require.

My overall view;
I am not a computer literate person by any means, yet I use Adobe Photoshop 7 to do all my pictures. Did not take long to learn what I needed, and its a difficult program to use. Mike and Joe have listed Free Software that is dirt simple to use. I am more than willing, and happy to post pictures for people, host pictures, whatever. Its your responsibility to down load the free SIMPLE software, and learn how to use it. No big deal, we help each other.

Norm, Get your free copies of H Press and Come A Long, you will love them

Paul
