It like the movie "Invasion of the Body Snachers". Slowly and ineroribly China has taken over virtually all manufacturing in the world or at least it sub contracts what its does not produce. We owe a ton of cash to them too. Even if you wanted, you can't ecscape them. I wanted a pair of well made shoe- forget it. Just cheap plastic soles glued to thin uppers made to last no more than 6 months. Remeber when shoes were made in the USA? Am I dating myself. I remember my wife bought a pair of Zodiac boots made in New Hampshire- USA!!! no longer there. My dad wa a tool and die maker in Connecsticut during the 50's- 70's. he had a ton of choices for employment in Connecticut- no longer. get the picture. And the sad thing is that these are Communists we are dealing with. I thought that was what the Cold War was all about. Well, in time it will catch up with us. Something like what happened in Rome a few thousand years ago.
