Back when the other Novelty Carriage Works PW bus was for sale, I thought about buying it for the Mine Tour to replace our tired trolley, but we didn't have any money and it seemed like too much work. Now we have some money and we're shopping for another trolley. The other board members might think I'm crazy, but a PW bus would sure be cool. Of course it would take a lot of work to get it in good shape, but for what we'd have to pay for a new trolley we could have the guys at our local body shop work it over. The tour doesn't go on any highways, and our current trolley is marginally legal anyway, so a stock PW would be good enough performance-wise.
Bottom line, is he considering selling it? Fixing it up and selling it? The Novelty Carriage Works body would be a nice local tie-in since it was made in Spokane.
