The wiper motor from the 64 D-100 I just parted out has 2 wires form the switch to the motor. Does that mean it is a 2 speed motor? It was wired to an aftermarket spdt switch and when I give it power, it runs and when I put the switch in the 2nd position it runs until a specific spot and parks. I wasnt sure if with a factory switch a second speed would be achieved by applying power to both wires at the same time, or if that might let some of the smoke out of the wires!
The markings on the wiper motor are:
Prestolite
EPW 4003-12 volt
