If you bought NOS motors they might be a little sticky inside. the lube tends to harden when they sit. Spray a buch of WD 40 inside the motor. maybe a good 5 second spray. with switch on work back and forth. this will re hydrate the lube. I always remove the little cover under the hand lever and oil the switch linkages as well. The more resistance you can remove the better they work.
