That really surprise me when you say you have poor traction in 4 wheel drive. Ours is very good and that is open differentials on both ends. Not as good as my '67 W200 but pretty good anyway. Beats our '01 Ram all to pieces. Now that rig has lousy traction and downright scary in the slick stuff. It has the worst traction I've experienced. Heck, the W will go better and farther in 2 wheel drive than it will in 4.
