When I starting get filters w/o the rubber seal at the top a couple of years ago, I call and spoke with a tech that said they stopped that design in the sixties. I bought a new filre about six months ago, still in the box, but the box is brown with just a small WIX label on it. Box has both numbers 551011 and 51011, and the filter is like the one on the left. They may have changed design again to fit a broader range of applications and what you have on the right is the new design. If that is the case, then we probably will be out of luck with filters. Usually when one manufacturer changes, the rest do also. Let us know what WIX has to say. Thanks Todd and keep up the good work!
