The Model A, 12 Volt wipers work quite well. They are made in China, but appear to be of reasonable quality. The wiper Blade that comes with them is trash. I modify the arms to accept a NAPA Classic style Blade. Also you need to use a .375" spacer to space the windshield wiper motor covers out from the valance for clearance. They are not a perfect fit, but the best I can find so far. I think in a mild winter climate that they would work OK.
