i have done a 4 wheel brake conversion using the Helitool conversion. The rotors, calipers and dual master cylinder are from a 1978 chevy 1 ton. I ran 3/16 brake line from the master cylinder to all 4 wheels. I also installed a manual adjusted proportining valve on the back master cylinder. The Dual master cyclinder was mounted under the floor just as the origional was. The braking is better but still not what i expected. I recently picked up a Bendix Hydrovac vacumn brake booster #2502340 that i intend to mount on the firewall under the hood.A friend was doing a disc brake conversion on a 1955 Studebaker and got it but didnt have the room to mount it. Will this work on my truck. Do i need Check Valves in the line? Any input is appreciated.
